By accessing our website and/or placing an order you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by our terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions have been created to protect your rights as a valued customer and to form the basis of an understanding between you as the customer and us as a business. The terms and conditions set out below do not affect your statutory rights.
Introduction:
You will be able to access most areas of our website without registering your details but some areas are only available to you if you register. The pages on our website are subject to change without notice. We may at any time revise these terms and conditions, so we recommend you check every time you order from us. Our website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us and reproduction is prohibited without permission. Unauthorised use of our website may result in a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. We guarantee to abide by all the conditions of the consumer protection laws. All the products supplied by us comply with current standard requirements. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on our website is correct we acknowledge that occasionally there may be inaccuracies or other errors. We exclude any liability for such inaccuracies and errors. It is your responsibility to ensure any products and information meets your specific requirements.
Delivery:
We are not always able to hold stock of all items on the website and may sometimes need to order your product(s) in to our store or deliver directly to you from one of our suppliers or partners. Jirani Lighting Solutions stock levels can fluctuate and some products on our website are subject to availability. We aim to dispatch all orders in 30min to 2 hours within Nairobi & it's environs and 24 hours country wide. If we are unable to dispatch items within this time, customers will be contacted as soon as possible and notified of the expected delivery date. We kindly advise our customers not to book an electrician until their items are delivered. If you require the goods in a set timeframe, call us to get a better indication for the delivery. All 'Order to Import' orders in the Direct import section in the website cannot be delivered within Standard delivery time as it normally takes 4-6 Weeks to import after order confirmation date. We Offer Free Delivery Country Wide.
Returns:
All Return Requests should be emailed directly to www.jiranilightingsolutions.co.ke. Unsuitable goods can be returned within 7 days for a refund. (Any delivery charges cannot be refunded - this is a non refundable service). Please see our return options below; to arrange either return option we must be notified by email, returns will not be processed without the correct documentation. Please email us to arrange your return. Jirani Lighting Solutions Ltd cannot be liable for any electricians costs due to pre-booked electricians, please check your goods fully prior to booking an installer.
Option One:
We Arrange Collection. Please note this service is not available to our customers who are outside Kenya
Option Two:
Customer Arranges Return. The customer takes full responsibility to ship unwanted goods back to us safely and undamaged for a full refund. Email us with notification of the return & we can provide you with the return address. **Your refund will be issued when the item(s) are returned and inspected. **Please pack the light up as best you can. Seal tight to prevent any movement inside the box ** **Returns will only be accepted if the item is unused, undamaged, unwired and in a re-sellable condition in the original, unmarked packaging. ** If items arrive back to us broken or damaged your full refund may not be guaranteed. All breakages must be reported within 24 hrs upon delivery. Cost of delivery (in the case where customer has be charged) is a non refundable service fee. We ask that you submit photographic evidence of the damage as it may be possible for us to just replace a damaged part, such as a broken glass shade, Bulb, rather than the whole fitting thus reducing the inconvenience and waiting time. If it is necessary, we will supply a replacement product. All we ask is that you carefully re-pack the product in all the original packaging including any bulbs or parts like screws that were included in your original delivery. Once it is received back with us we will arrange for the replacement to be sent.
Money Back Guarantee:
We have a no quibble money back guarantee on all our goods,even if you simply change your mind. Unsuitable goods can be returned within 7 days for a full refund, less the outbound cost of transport. If you require a return transport service this would also be deducted.
In the unlikely case of damages or faults, please Contact Us directly Call/WhatsApp 0726 785152 to arrange a replacement. If the item is faulty we will usually arrange to collect the item at the same time as delivering a replacement. Broken glasses or missing components do not class as faulty and replacement parts will be sent. All our products are checked thoroughly prior to dispatch and we pride ourselves on the care we take packaging your products to ensure they arrived with you safely. We would ask you to carefully inspect all your items as soon as you receive them, even if you do not intend to fit them immediately. Any damage that has occurred in transit or any shortages must be reported by email to our sales team within 24 hours of delivery.
After this 24-hour period, it is deemed that the goods have arrived in a satisfactory condition and we regret that we cannot accept any claim for damages or shortages after this period. Jirani Led Lighting Solutions Ltd can not be liable for any electricians costs due to pre-booked electricians, please check your goods fully prior to booking an installer.
Guarantees:
Most of our light fittings have a minimum 12-month manufacturer guarantee that applies from the date of purchase. Light bulbs are not covered by this guarantee although many of our low energy and LED bulbs are now supplied with a manufacturers’ guarantee. Additionally, these guarantees do not apply to outdoor light fittings installed in salty or acidic conditions or if they are fitted within 5 miles of the coast, unless they have been specifically designed to be used in harsh conditions when they are supplied with separate guarantees by the manufacturer; details will be shown in our individual product information.
Additionally, we have extended the electrical warranty on most of our light fittings to 2 years. Please note that if the fitting has been installed incorrectly or damaged or modified in any way all guarantees and warrantees will cease to apply. Unless we specifically detail any varying length of guarantee, this applies to all products. Jirani Lighting Solutions Ltd warrantee is applicable in conjunction with and not in addition to the manufacturer guarantee. In the unlikely event that your light fitting develops a fault within these dates, we will arrange for a replacement or suitable alternative to be dispatched free of charge (inclusive of delivery).
Return of the faulty fitting will be at the customers expense and we will dispatch the replacement on receipt of the faulty fitting and your original receipt. We therefore recommend that you retain our receipt for the period of any guarantee and/or warrantee in case you need to contact us for a replacement. We would ask that you contact our sales team before returning any item, so we can guide you through the process if your fitting is covered by one of our guarantees.
